FAQWhat does stonewashed mean for a tablecloth?
After weaving, the cloth is tumbled with stones for several hours. This softens the cotton fibers and gives the fabric a relaxed, lived-in texture, so it feels soft on day one instead of after many home washes.
Does a stonewashed tablecloth need ironing?Usually not. Light, soft creasing is part of the stonewashed look, and most people lay it straight from the dryer or line. If you prefer a smoother table, iron on a low setting while the cloth is slightly damp.
Which size fits my table?Add the drop you want on each side twice to your table length and width. An 8 in drop is common for dining. A 43 × 63 in table, for example, fits the 59 × 79 in cloth. See the Size Guide for all 16 sizes.
Is it 100% cotton?Yes. The tablecloth is woven entirely from long-staple Turkish cotton and handwoven in Denizli, Turkey. There is no synthetic blend, so the fabric breathes, takes the stonewash finish evenly and softens further with regular washing.
Will the colors fade in the wash?Wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors and skip bleach to keep the earth tones even. A slight softening of tone over time is natural to washed cotton and suits the relaxed character of the cloth.
