About Dry Brushing
A dry brush is a brush you use on dry skin, before the shower, to gently lift away dead skin cells so skin feels smoother and ready for moisturizer. Bristle choice matters. Natural bristles are softer than the sisal and boar bristles common in dry brushes, which makes them a gentle option for beginners and for anyone who prefers a light touch.

How to Choose
- Body: the palm-sized oval brush with a strap stays steady on arms, legs and back.
- Face: the small head reaches the cheeks, forehead and neck with control.
- Both: the face brush is a separate tool; the body brush is not meant for the face.
- Ritual: more ideas for a quiet routine in spa.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you dry brush your body?
Use the brush on dry skin before the shower. Start at the ankles and move upward with long, light strokes. Keep the pressure light; skin should not feel irritated. A full-body session takes 3 to 5 minutes. Then shower and apply moisturizer.
How often should I dry brush?
Start with 2 to 3 sessions a week. Once your skin is used to it, adjust to what feels comfortable. For the face, 1 to 2 minutes in total is enough, about 20 to 30 seconds each for cheeks, forehead and neck.
Natural bristle, sisal or boar: which is gentler?
Natural bristles are softer than the sisal and boar bristles often used in dry brushes. That makes our brushes a gentle first step for beginners. Keep the pressure light, and do not brush irritated, broken or sunburned skin.
Should I dry brush my face?
You can, with a brush made for the face. Use the face brush on dry, clean skin before washing, without pressing. Skip the eye area and avoid active acne, rosacea, wounds or sunburn. Then wash and apply serum or moisturizer.
How do I clean a dry brush?
Rinse the bristles with water only. Do not wet or soak the beech wood. Dry the brush bristles-down in an airy place and store it in the cotton pouch only once fully dry.
