In short: The Natural Bristle Dry Body Brush is an oval beech wood brush with soft natural bristles and an elastic hand strap, made for dry brushing the body before the shower. It measures 14 x 6 cm (5.5 x 2.4 in), comes with a cotton pouch and is made in Türkiye.
Natural bristles are softer than the sisal and boar bristles often used in dry brushes, which makes this brush a gentle first step for anyone new to dry brushing and for people who prefer a light touch. The 2 cm (0.8 in) bristles are flexible and no synthetic bristles are used.
The oval body sits in the palm, and the elastic strap goes over the back of your hand so the brush stays steady while you work. Use it on dry skin, starting at the ankles and moving upward with long, light strokes; 3 to 5 minutes covers the whole body. Then shower and apply your moisturizer. It makes a short morning ritual inspired by the hammam tradition.

FAQDo I use the dry body brush on wet or dry skin?
On dry skin, before the shower. Start at the ankles and brush upward with long, light strokes. Keep the pressure light; the skin should not feel irritated. Then shower and apply your moisturizer.
How often should I dry brush?Start with 2 to 3 sessions a week. Once your skin is used to it, adjust the frequency to what feels comfortable for you. A full-body session takes about 3 to 5 minutes.
Who should not use this brush?Do not use it on sensitive, irritated or broken skin, during an eczema or psoriasis flare-up, or on sunburned areas. If you feel discomfort while brushing, stop. When in doubt, ask your doctor first.
Can I use the body brush on my face?No. This brush is made for the body. For the face we offer a separate, smaller brush with a spoon-shaped handle and a 4 x 4 cm (1.6 x 1.6 in) bristle head for light strokes.
How do I clean the brush?Rinse the bristles with water only. Do not wet or soak the beech wood body. Dry it bristles-down in an airy place, and put it back in the cotton pouch only once it is fully dry.
Is the brush vegan?No. The bristles are natural animal hair, so the product is not vegan. The body is beech wood and the drawstring pouch is 100% cotton, both plant based. Keep this in mind if you prefer vegan products.
