Why a Linen Cotton Blend?
Pure linen looks beautiful but feels stiff and creases hard. Cotton alone drapes softly but reads flat. Woven together and pre-washed, the two behave the way you actually want a table runner to behave: the linen gives texture, body and that dry, slubby hand, while the cotton keeps it supple and easy to launder. It lies flat on the table instead of curling at the ends, and it comes out of the wash relaxed rather than crumpled.

The Denizli Heritage
Denizli has been a textile center since Roman times, and the Aegean weaving tradition behind it goes back some 2,500 years. Our table linens are made with three generations of that know-how — fabric woven for us in Denizli, then cut, hemmed and finished by women artisans in our own workshop. Each fabric is tested under OEKO-TEX Standard 100, the textile safety certification that checks the finished cloth for harmful substances rather than trusting the label.
