In a mosaic weave the loom raises rows of small, evenly spaced dots across the surface, like tiles in a mosaic. The pattern is a traditional Anatolian towel weave, known internationally as bobble, bubble or popcorn weave. The raised dots add surface area, so the towel absorbs more and feels fuller in the hand than a flat weave, yet it still dries quickly.
